I love to be alone. I keep most of my thoughts locked away in my own head. I am not a native of Oklahoma, but migrated here with my family and Oklahoma City is where I planted my own roots.
I love food. I LOVE food...so, I bake. Professionally. I didn't go to school to learn techniques. Baking is in my blood and I cannot deny the need to create with my hands. It's the long processes of pastry-making that fuel my creative fire. Perhaps it's the bullshit I believe that "nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain and difficulty."
Earbuds in, matching movement to rhythm, I've been hiding away in a small, not-so-well known, hot-as-hell Oklahoma City bakery hammering out pastry techniques and methodology through countless failures, re-configuring and endless repetition until the shop closed and locked its' doors.
